F.C. Morin-Heights welcomes players from the ages of four to twenty-one. Our club, affiliated with ARSL (Association Régionale de Soccer des Laurentides) is a place where players have fun.

Welcome to the Morin-Heights Elementary School soccer field, where the objective is to give children a taste for soccer  and to instill in them our values which is the strength of our club.

About our club

Our history

Our soccer club was founded in 1988 by people from our community who had the development of children at heart. For 34  years now, F.C. Morin-Heights has given all children aged 4 to 21 the chance to be part of a larger family; that of one of the most popular sports on the planet; soccer.

We are a non-profit organization which aims at the social, psychological and sports development of the players, RESPECT is the greatest value transmitted by the coaches and volunteers.

Grassroots Program

The Grassroots is a U4 to U8 initiation program, where children can learn the basics and joys of soccer on Saturday mornings for twelve weeks from June to August. If your child turns four in the reference year (between January 1 and December 31) he/she will be able to be part of U4 team. One-hour sessions on Saturday mornings allow players to improve their motor skills, their attention span and learn the first rules of a team sport. The bilingual component of our program has, among other things, made its reputation.

CDC program U9-U12

Our program is based on the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) Long Term Player Development (LTPD) plan. The CDC is a new training program that focuses on individual player development through various drills and games. The games will be played in a group format.  This means that all groups in the same category should play their game of the week on the same day.  Ideally, games will also be played at the same location against groups from the same club.  The schedule will be set by the  Association régional de soccer  (ARS).

  • Participation in a competitive regional league;

  • No selection/tryouts;

  • Practices once a week or more;

  • the players are supervised by volunteer coaches certified by the ARSL and Soccer Quebec;

  • For players from U13 to U21;

  • For the player who wants to improve their skills during their competitive season or just for the fun of the game.
